2024: A Brilliant Year Ahead
2024 is going to be a busy year of travel - not only for my clients, but also for me. I am so excited about the trips I have planned and the destinations which are mostly new to me. My passport hasn’t seen this much action since 2019!

Riviera Maya, Mexico - Kicking off 2024 with a birthday trip to Mexico (mostly for my fiancé's birthday but I’ll get to ring in another year there too)! We will be staying at UNICO again - we absolutely loved this resort when we stayed there for a friend’s wedding in October 2022 and looking forward to having a full week to relax and unwind there. On my to do list for our trip? Spa appointments, snorkeling the cenotes, and spicy margaritas poolside. While this is mostly a vacation, I am planning to visit a couple of incredible hotels in Tulum while I am there, including one of the 2023 Top 50 Hotels in the World!
Japan - One of my goals for 2024 was to make it to Japan and I am THRILLED to be going with one of our preferred partners, Classic Vacations, for a week in late February. It will be a whirlwind trip seeing Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Hakone and checking out many incredible 5* hotels along the way. I get a lot of travel requests for Japan and it’s important for me to understand where to stay, what to do, and how to best explore the country as I guide my future clients. Expect to hear more about this trip in a few months! And if you are also thinking 2024 is the year you go to Japan we should start planning ASAP (Spring 2024 is already booking up) - Japan is one of the most popular destinations for 2024!
Papagayo, Costa Rica - My last trip to Costa Rica was in 2016 and my friend and I spent an incredible week in Santa Teresa, a small surfing town on the Nicoya Peninsula. And I am thrilled to return next summer and see a different part of this diverse country. As I mentioned before, Costa Rica has something for everyone and each region offers unique experiences and accommodations, landscapes, and wildlife. Papagayo is in the northwest part of the country and known for its rainforests, beaches, and lots of access to water sports. Papagayo has become more and more popular over recent years and there are a number of luxury hotels in the area. We will be staying at El Mangroove, a Marriott Autograph hotel - this hotel is part of the Marriott Stars & Luminous program, one of the elite hotel partnerships our agency is part of which means we’ll have access to perks including free breakfast daily and $100 resort credits for each of our rooms. The last time I went surfing was when I was in Costa Rica - perhaps I’ll give it another try next year? There’s sure to be some scuba diving during this trip!
Argentina - And finally, next Fall, I will be finally making a return trip to South America on my honeymoon! I’m currently working on all of the details, but our plan is to spend time in Argentina exploring Buenos Aires and then relaxing in Mendoza’s wine country. Why Argentina? My fiancé and I wanted to go somewhere we’d never been before and plan a mix of relaxation and urban exploration. There will be incredible food, stunning architecture, tango, wine…and luxurious hotel accommodations, naturally! I cannot wait to share more about our trip as the details come together.
