2026 Travel Preview: Where We’re Taking Clients - and Where I’m Headed Next
As we look ahead to 2026, I’m genuinely excited about the trips already taking shape for our clients. We’re planning multi-generational European river cruises, first-time journeys to Alaska by cruise and rail (arguably the best way to experience Alaska on an inaugural visit), an epic European adventure featuring a private yacht charter in Italy, and a first-time Europe itinerary with stops in Paris and Bordeaux.
If history is any indication, January will arrive with a full-force planning rush—and we’re ready. With the right strategy, expertise, and partners in place, 2026 is shaping up to be a year of seamless, meaningful travel for our clients.
But what about me? Where am I headed in 2026?
Unlike the past two years, my personal travel plans are a little less locked in—and honestly, that’s part of the fun. Here’s what’s currently on my radar.
Winter: A Birthday Getaway in Nashville
In January, my husband and I are sneaking away for a long weekend in Nashville—my second visit and our joint birthday celebration. We’ll be staying at Noelle Nashville, a Virtuoso hotel right downtown near Printers Alley.
The primary reason for the trip? A hockey game (go Blackhawks!). But this time around, I’m looking forward to digging deeper into the city’s food, music, and neighborhood scene.
Spring: New England…or Beneath the Sea
Spring plans are still flexible—either a classic New England escape or a long-awaited dive trip to Bonaire. Bonaire has lived on my wish list for years, and with partners like Harbour Village Beach Club, it’s an ideal destination for divers and non-divers alike.
Stunning resort, effortless shore diving, crystal-clear water—this one may finally need to happen.
Summer: Jungle to Reef in Belize
Belize has been popping up more and more in client itineraries, which means it’s time for me to experience it firsthand. This summer, we’re planning a trip that starts inland—jungle lodges, Mayan ruins, hiking—and ends on the coast in Ambergris Caye.
Snorkeling the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, diving, and a few blissfully slow days by the water sound like the perfect antidote to Atlanta summer heat.
Conrad Tulum
Fall: Riviera Maya + Cozumel
Next fall, my host agency conference brings me back to the Riviera Maya, where I’ll be staying at the stunning Conrad Tulum—a property I’ve toured before and can’t wait to experience properly.
I’m also hoping to add on time in Cozumel (a first!) with a stay at InterContinental Cozumel to explore the island and its legendary reefs.
While 2025 was filled with river cruises and ocean crossings, 2026 is shaping up to include more time on land—and underwater—closer to home. That said, I wouldn’t rule out a longer-haul adventure if the stars align. Southeast Asia is calling, and I’m overdue for a return.
