More benefits of working with a Travel Advisor

We’ve brought on many new clients over the past couple of months for a variety of trip types and destinations. But the questions we receive from our clients typically remain the same, especially if they are new to working with a travel advisor. 

We shared FAQs in a post last year and thought this was a perfect time to share some updated questions and also share some love from our clients traveling this Spring and Summer.

Fantastic Experience!

My husband and I contacted Erin to help us find a quick getaway. With her suggestions, we decided on Puerto Rico and I am so glad we did. She booked us at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel and took care of all the booking. The hotel was top notch. When we entered our suite, she had a note and a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting! Q: Can you provide a cost breakdown for the components of my itinerary?

A: I work directly with my partners to provide you with the best accommodations, experiences, and service at the best value. This does not always mean the least expensive price. Many of my itineraries are a bundled cost, and itemizing may not be possible. However, the pricing is a result of leveraging my partner relationships. We work together to provide you the best of everything at the best value.

Q: Will you book flights for me?

A: Flight booking is handled on a case by case basis. We typically offer flight booking services in your destination should you need to move around. For US or international flights, we can assist you with booking flights for Business or First Class. There are additional fees for flight booking which we can discuss during your consultation call.  

Q: Will you help us with restaurant reservations?  

A: Absolutely, we love to help our clients make the most of their trip by securing reservations for them whether they have a list of desired restaurants or need our help finding the best option for a special dinner. We ask that our clients provide us with any restaurants of interest as early as possible for their trip so that we can book their reservations further in advance and avoid disappointment that comes with last-minute bookings.

Q: If you haven’t been to the destination before, how can you help us plan the best trip there?

A: It’s true, I haven’t been everywhere…yet. I’ve made it to 34 countries (and 31 states in the US), and I have a growing list of places I’d love to explore. But that doesn’t mean I can’t help plan an amazing trip for you in a destination I’ve never visited. Through my affiliations with Gifted Travel Network and Virtuoso, I have access to an extensive list of travel partners around the world that help me put together unforgettable travel experiences for my clients. Many times those partners are experts in their destination because they are based there - they have local knowledge and relationships that go a long way in putting together your ideal itinerary. And I lean on my partners for travel advice, destination resources, and more. I can even set up a call between you and my partners so that you can ask questions of the local experts and feel confident that you’ll be taken care of throughout your trip.
