Forbes Travel Guide is the only independent global rating system that verifies luxury hotels, restaurants, spas, and cruise ships. Currently, they inspect over 2,000 properties in more than 85 countries across the world, evaluating each one with 900 objective standards.Any properties that receive the FTG approval rating meet high standards for service and facility, with an emphasis on service. When you stay at a FTG award winning hotel or embark on an award-winning cruise, you can expect top notch service.

So what does it mean to be a FTG-endorsed agency?

GTN has been recognized for their advisors’ dedication to client experience, as well as our support of Star-Rated hotels.  And being a member of an endorsed agency has its perks…for our clients.

Benefits for our clients

As an affiliate of GTN, I have access to FTG’s travel portal which connects advisors to General Managers at nearly 1,400 hotels in 81 countries. When we book clients at a Star-Rated hotel, we immediately register their stay on this portal, triggering a notification to the general manager at the property. 

Once this happens, we typically receive an email from the General Manager acknowledging our client’s upcoming stay and asking how they can be of further assistance to ensure that our client has a wonderful experience during their time on property. Whether this means enhanced amenities, requests for upgrades, or personalized touches, this connection is one of the ways we make our clients’ trips extraordinary. 

Sure, you can book your own hotel stay at one of these award-winning hotels, but you won’t have a way to let the hotel’s management know you’re celebrating a honeymoon, requiring special accommodations, or needing a late checkout.
