Urban Grandeur & Historic Reboots
The Chancery Rosewood, London
Set in the former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, this lavish newcomer preserves its iconic eagle-adorned façade. Inside, 144 suites by Joseph Dirand offer serene, art-filled sanctuaries. Another Rosewood property set in a historic building, the new hotel in Amsterdam sits in the former Palace of Justice in the historic canal district. The hotel offers 134 ultra-luxe rooms and suites overlooking the canals, city rooftops, or landscaped courtyards. Peruse the lobby library adorned with vintage books and other artifacts. Conrad Athens – The Ilisian, Athens
A reimagining of the beloved Hilton Athens, this property will relaunch in November 2025. It brings together a Conrad hotel and luxurious residences under both Conrad and Waldorf Astoria branding, offering modern elegance in Greece’s historic heart. Recently reopened after 8 years and a $2 billion restoration, the Grande Dame of NYC hotels is better than ever. The number of rooms shrank from 1400 to 375, meaning that your hotel room will be even more spacious than before (and more spacious than the average New York hotel room).
