Though we are nearly ¾ of the way through 2025, we wanted to share some of the most exciting and stylish hotel openings - to inspire your next trip.

Urban Grandeur & Historic Reboots

• The Chancery Rosewood, London
  Set in the former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, this lavish newcomer preserves its iconic eagle-adorned façade. Inside, 144 suites by Joseph Dirand offer serene, art-filled sanctuaries. No fixed check-ins or check-outs, a rooftop “Eagle” bar, and cultural engagements make it London’s boldest opening.  

• Rosewood Amsterdam
  Another Rosewood property set in a historic building, the new hotel in Amsterdam sits in the former Palace of Justice in the historic canal district. The hotel offers 134 ultra-luxe rooms and suites overlooking the canals, city rooftops, or landscaped courtyards. Peruse the lobby library adorned with vintage books and other artifacts. Do laps in the indoor pool before an ayurvedic treatment in Asaya spa.

• Conrad Athens – The Ilisian, Athens
  A reimagining of the beloved Hilton Athens, this property will relaunch in November 2025. It brings together a Conrad hotel and luxurious residences under both Conrad and Waldorf Astoria branding, offering modern elegance in Greece’s historic heart. (Another preferred partner!) 

• Waldorf Astoria New York

  Recently reopened after 8 years and a $2 billion restoration, the Grande Dame of NYC hotels is better than ever. The number of rooms shrank from 1400 to 375, meaning that your hotel room will be even more spacious than before (and more spacious than the average New York hotel room). Prepare for updated dining, drinks, and a luxurious Guerlain spa.  

Coastal Sojourns & Vintage Charm

• Hotel del Coronado, California
  This storied National Historic Landmark enters the modern era with a $550 million renovation. New villas, a revived Victorian lobby, and the oceanfront Nobu del Coronado (hello, miso cod!) promise genteel glamour by the sea.
  

• Orient Express La Minerva, Rome
  A majestic debut from Accor, this 17th-century palazzo near the Pantheon opens its doors in April 2025. With 93 rooms, art deco touches, marble baths, a rooftop restaurant, and even a Turkish hammam—expect time-warp luxury with a Roman twist.

• Nekajui, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Guanacaste, Costa Rica

  The newest resort on Peninsula Papagayo, the Reserve offers exclusive accommodations facing ethereal views of the Pacific Ocean. Its 107 accommodations are comfortably elegant with expansive terraces and views; two glamping tents sit amidst the treetops. Eco-adventures abound: tubing along the Rio Azul, hiking to waterfalls, surfing the waves, zip-lining through the lush canopy.
