New Hotels We’re Excited About
As we enter October and start creeping toward the end of the year (you know it will be here before you know it!) I wanted to share with you some of the hotel openings from earlier this year and those we are excited about for next year.
Of course, this is just a taste of what is being planned for 2025 and you can expect us to share more updates along the way! And reminder that this is a great time to start thinking about those Spring and Summer 2025 travel plans!
Europe
If you want to go to Italy next summer, but opt for something a bit further from the crowds in Amalfi, try Sardinia. Belmond opened their newest property, Romazzino, on the island this summer. The hotel is set along the seaside cliffs in Porto Cervo, long known as the premier vacation destination in Sardinia. You can experience water sports, private boat tours for snorkeling, or even travel to Corsica’s beaches. There’s tennis, padel, yoga, and more on site, or you can leave the hotel to see the most picturesque villages and towns such as San Pantaleo or Porto Rotondo, or go wine tasting. Porto Cervo itself is home to art galleries, boutiques, and renowned restaurants so you will have plenty to do during your stay.
Canoeing at The Dunlin
USA
Auberge Resorts opened The Dunlin in South Carolina in August, offering a completely new option for your next visit to Charleston. The Dunlin is set on the Kiawah River in Johns Island, 20 miles from Charleston. This hotel is a total retreat from the busyness of daily life - get lost in the hotel’s marshland paths or relax in a rocking chair on your porch. This is an ideal spot for a couple’s long-weekend getaway or a trip with your entire family. Kids (and adults too) can enjoy fishing, exploring the on-site farm, or kayaking along the river.
Caribbean
Mid-2025, Hyatt is opening the Grand Hyatt Cayman Islands on the iconic Seven Mile Beach and promises this to be the next Baha Mar. The hotel will offer a mix of room types including studio suites and one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts that can accommodate up to 8 people, making this ideal for families traveling to the Caribbean. The hotel will be located on seven acres and include six restaurants, three pools, a large spa and fitness center, and more.
Asia
Capella hotels have consistently been rated in the Top 50 hotels in the world, including their hotels in Bangkok (#1) and Singapore (#33).i. Their next hotel will open in Kyoto mid-2025 in the Miyagawa-chō district, an important geiko (geisha) and maiko (apprentice geisha) neighborhood in Kyoto. The hotel takes inspiration from Japanese culture and creates a calming atmosphere to relax and slow down. The location is within walking distance of the famous Gion district and many of the famous temples and shrines in Kyoto.
Are any of these hotels enticing you to get away in 2025? Let’s connect and start planning your next incredible trip.
